See you next year? January 25, 2010

Alas, it’s time to wind down on our blog updates and say our goodbyes. The BT Young Scientist & Technology Exhibition has been an incredible experience. Here at IBM, we are delighted to have participated and we got a lot out of it. Meeting the students was energising. And it’s not over yet: in February, we will welcome Thomas Dunne (winner of the IBM special award) to our Innovation Centre in Dublin. Once the ‘My idea for a Smarter Planet’ competition winner is announced in March, we will also invite the winner and their class to IBM for a visit, so keep submitting your ideas from our website, ibm.ie, until the 14th of February.

We hope to be there again for the 2011 BT Young Scientist & Technology Exhibition and in that case, we will re-open this blog. In the meantime, here are the many other ways in which you can connect with us. Any interesting projects and updates from the IBM Ireland team will be posted on these channels. See you all there!

Finally, we’d like to end with a video recap of our experience at BTYSTE 2010. I hope you agree, the images speak for themselves 🙂

Thanks for your readership and speak to you all soon!

Signed: the IBM Ireland team
