What a great week! January 19, 2010

I think I have now recovered from the longest and most exhausting week I’ve had in a very long time! Having lived and breathed this project for the past few months, it was fantastic to see that it was worth the effort. All down to working with a great team of IBM employees as part of the team who put it all together and the fantastic IBM volunteers, I was really proud to wear my IBM Smarter Planet T-shirt and be a part of this great team 🙂 There was such great interest in the IBM stand and in our involvement with the KidSmart Early Learning Programme on the BT Stand, worth all the long hours of organisation.

Yep was definitely worth the effort! Very well done to you Deirdre & your team for putting this event together, it was a great success indeed!! 😉

I enjoyed it very much.
Great event and great participation from IBM.
The time flew while I was there.
This is certainly some form of validation for Deirdre and her team for organising the event in such a way to attract maximum exposure for IBM and to keep us all busy.

I really enjoyed being part of the team and it was great to see such energy at the stand (exhausting but fun). I think the kids and teachers went away knowing a little bit more about IBM and a yo-yo or UBUNTU CD

Great to be part of the team for this, excellent start to the new year and well done to all the volunteers as well. I enjoyed sharing how IBM is helping to make education smarter at the BT learning zone and the Kidsmart Early Learning unit went down a treat with teachers, students and politicians alike.
